Joe Zumbo has been assisting small and medium sized businesses achieve their goals for over 25 years of public practice.
Having commenced his career with a Big Four accounting firm, Joe gained invaluable training and experience in servicing the needs of high net worth individuals and business clients.
In 2000, Joe became a Director of Stafford Whelan, where he has become a well regarded and trusted advisor to many long term clients, across a broad range of industries and professions.
Joe enjoys working closely with clients’ directors and management teams through regular meetings and consulting in areas such as taxation, management accounting, strategic planning and self-managed superannuation.
Joe is a dedicated professional, wholly committed to the development of the Stafford Whelan team, ensuring a high standard of care and attention to client's needs.
Married to Jo and with three daughters, Joe enjoys spending time with his family, watching his beloved AFL Tigers and keeping fit.

Keven Kownden
Director
Keven Kownden joined Stafford Whelan in 2001.
In addition to helping our clients meeting their compliance obligations, Keven has been advising small and medium enterprises and Individual clients providing them with his technical expertise and business services knowledge.
He is actively involved in mentoring and managing the accounting team to meet our high work standard and maintain strong relationships with clients.
Keven also provides valuable support to Joe to ensure the smooth running of the Practice.
Outside work hours, Keven likes to spend some quiet time with his wife Leena and daughter Kashika. He is also a keen fitness enthusiast.

Joanne Zumbo
Joanne Zumbo began her accounting career at a Big 4 accounting firm where she worked for numerous years servicing SMEs and high net worth individuals, and gained her Chartered Accountancy qualification. Wanting a more ‘hands on’ role, Joanne then took up a position in industry, working for a large privately owned business in their head office which then led to subsequent roles in two of their divisional businesses.
After some time at home following the birth of her three children, Joanne returned to public practice where she uses her knowledge and experience to advise SMEs and high net worth individuals. In addition to specialising in accounting, taxation and business services to a wide range of clients, Joanne enjoys assisting clients to implement the most appropriate choice of accounting package for their requirements. Joanne also enjoys assisting clients with their payroll, budgeting and compliance functions.
When she is not working, Joanne enjoys being a ‘taxi’ for her children, catching up with family and friends, seeing the occasional movie or theatre production and gardening.
